3. SYMBOLS and STYLES
Some Path Makers have chosen to use symbols and styles which make the PLACE or COUNTRY of ORIGIN obvious. Here are some fine examples:

Tiles #1125-8 Four tiles from St. John's, Newfoundland, CANADA Tile #1617 Maki Izawa Tani, JAPAN oxide, slip and glaze decoration on stoneware Tile #1625 Bullet train, Japan by Kiyomi: slip and oxides on stoneware Tiles #301-2 Carmen Llavata-Tamavit SPAIN A Spanish Galleon in black slip on a white ground to represent her country

Please make sure your tiles are as close to 10 x 10 cm or 4 x 4 inches as you possibly can! If they are 1 cm or half an inch (or more) larger / smaller, they may not fit anywhere and not be used. We do not encourage "panels" of tiles, but up to four are acceptable.
