Painting and Drawing
Six week course with Howard Coles **postponed**
This course will help students to adapt the techniques and methods learned in the studio to working directly from the landscape. Postponed until Howard returns from Australia
Course fee: £65 for 7 weeks
discount for eligible Friends
Maximum class size: 10 per session
With places limited, booking is recommended

Gwyl Criccieth Festival
held annually each June, this year's is from 14th to the 20th June 2004
CoA Beach of Art Sculpture Day:
first Sunday in August
Using the flotsam and jetsam, sand and stones on Morannedd Beach beyond the promenade in Criccieth (east of castle). There is a Chapel of Art "Environmental Sculpture Day" each year... Weather permitting.
National Poetry Day:
14th October 2004
An event of poetry reading and a writing workshop usually mark this day at The Chapel of Art. Readings and composition of verses or lines to add to the poem "Cento" by Roger McGough in 2003 (see here). Please bring your favourite poem with you. National Poetry Day will be on 14th October 2004
The Big Draw:
During half-term week in October
Initiated by the Guild of St. George, The Campaign for Drawing organises a week of activities nation-wide. The Chapel of Art hosts at least one event during the half-term week in October (see here) It is suitable for people of all ages. "Drawing is a wonderfully positive verb which can be used to embrace any form of mark-making with meaning". Come and see for yourself...
