The Academi Ty Newydd Festival
11th to 13th April 2003

Sna'm Llonydd ym Mharadwys Catrin Beard interviewed brother and sister authors Margiad Roberts and William Owen Roberts, on their very different styles. And in Different Voices Paul Henry introduced four young poets: P.C. Evans, Viki Holmes, Fiona Owen & Zoë Skoulding

National Poetry Day
Readings by poets and the public. On National Poetry Day in 2003 held on October 9th, lines were added to the poem Cento, by Roger McGough and The Great Experience by Sheila Simmons was read. Read here

Borneo Lecture by former British Council employee John Dobson with wife Katharine, who spent several years in Kuching.

China illustrated talk by photographer Jean Napier.

'The Frequencies I commanded': Recording R. S. Thomas Damian Walford Davies talked about the poet recording the triple CD "R. S, Thomas Reading the Poems" (Criccieth Festival 2001)

God's Favourites The Story of  Howell Harris and Sidney Griffiths by Dr. Geraint Tudur (Criccieth Festival 2002)

Ceramica Mexicana An illustrated lecture by Ceramic Artist, Elizabeth Ross on Mexican Ceramics from Pre-Hispanic to Modern Times (October 2002)


Book Launches
Artist and author, Jonah Jones presented his book Clough Williams-Ellis - A Memoir, about the remarkable architect and creator of Port Meirion (1998).

Photographer
Jean Napier (right) introduced her book Old Boys of Rhosydd to the public in The Chapel of Art. (1999).
