Artist's Profile:
Jan Beeny graduated (BA Ceramics) from the University of Wales, Cardiff, then returned to take her Masters in 1988. She worked part-time thereafter, but since 1997 Jan Beeny has reversed her commitments. She now works 90% of her time in the studio and the remaining 10% is spent in educational and community arts projects.
Jan Beeny in a Professional Member of The Craft Potters' Association of Britain, a Member of South Wales Potters' Association, plus Director, Trustee and Exhibitions Officer of the Makers Guild in Wales.
Jan Beeny's work is exhibited widely, including the Ceramic Millennium in The Netherlands and exhibitions at The CoA.
